Is everything solid gold?

Yes. Everything we sell is solid gold or solid silver; we do not sell gold-filled or gold-plated pieces. Ask and we will tell you the metal, the weight and the size before you buy. We are not affiliated with the brands whose styles we sell.

Are the watches genuine?

Yes. Every watch we sell is a genuine pre-owned branded watch. Not all of them come with the original box and papers, but we can verify and confirm any watch before you buy. We are not affiliated with the brands we sell.

How do I buy a piece I have seen?

Not online: the website is a showcase of what we do. Enquire about the piece by the form, phone or WhatsApp. We confirm it is still in and agree the price, then you come and see it at 49 Cambridge Street, Cleethorpes DN35 8HD (message ahead and we will put it aside), or we send it next-day, UK only.

Do you deliver?

Yes. Next-day delivery is available nationwide, UK only, on pieces bought from the shop. Confirm postage and timing with the shop when you enquire.

What do you buy?

Accepted Answer

Gold, silver and other precious metals, jewellery in any condition including broken pieces and odd earrings, and pre-owned watches. Scrap gold is bought at 94% of the live spot price and silver at 75%; wearable and desirable pieces and watches are worth more, so ask. Bring it into the shop for a price, or send photographs and the weight first.

How do I sell, and what do I bring?

Bring it in, or send a photo and a rough weight first. It goes on the scale in front of you and you get a price while you wait. Bring photo ID when you sell gold, precious metals or a watch.

Can I part-exchange?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Put the value of gold or a watch you already own towards something else in the shop, and we will work out the difference.

Do you do repairs, and what do they cost?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Minor repairs, polishing and cleaning are all done in house; anything major goes to the specialists we work with. The cost depends on the piece: bring it in, or send a picture, for an estimate on price.

Yes. Tell us the piece you are looking for and we will source it, or tell us what you have in mind and we come back with what is possible and a price.
